The Cable’s daily average is slightly above 1 pip and the peak of 4.9 pips took place during the last 4 hours. Pound/Dollar has been on a slide from the high of 1 5370 and it’s down by point 69% or 106 pips. Spreads were elevated for a while as the UK Construction PMI was out, but make sure you haven’t been charged more than 4.9 pips. And wrapping up this report is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 48 and 7.7 pips respectively. Daily volatility is 124 pips and it was recorded as the rate moved up by slightly more than 1%. The US data run sent the spreads higher yesterday at 2 PM GMT, but make sure your broker hasn’t increased them artificially above the max of 7.7 pips.
