Spreads peaked today at 8:40 in the morning as the rate was moving sharply up, but you shouldn’t have seen a gap bigger than 3.2 pips. Moving on to the Cable, long term average is 1.15 pips. Peak spread of 6.2 pips took place during the last hour. Pound/Dollar has been on a rise from the low of 1 5585 and the pair has gained point 67% or 105 pips. Spreads were elevated today at 9:30 AM during the UK data run, but make sure your broker hasn’t charged you more than 6.2 pips. And wrapping up this report is the Dollar/Yen. Daily average is point 4 pips and peak of 3.8 pips took place during the last 4 hours. The rate moved sharply up to the high of 119 15, but a following slide measures at point 91% or 108 pips.
