Mediobanca Hires Goldman Sachs De Palacio for Finance Clients

Goldman Sachs Group Inc.’s Gonzalo De Palacio Rodriguez has been hired by Mediobanca SpA to advise financial companies in Spain, Portugal, and Latin America.
De Palacio is based in Madrid and will report to Francesco Canzonieri, an internal memo said.
Chief Executive Officer Alberto Nagel is expanding abroad to boost Mediobanca’s securities business and sharpen the focus on providing advice and financing across the region.
