Goldman Sachs Hires Jose Abad for Spanish Banking Research

Goldman Sachs Group has hired Jose Abad to cover Spanish banks for its equity research team.
Abad will report to the head of the European financial research team, Jernej Omahen, a firm’s spokesman said.
He will be based in London. Abad joins from Moody’s Investors Service, and was chief economist at Spain’s Instituto de Credito Oficial, Spain’s state-owned development bank.
