Investec tells investors to keep faith in Standard Chartered (STAN.L) even after a distinctly disappointing first half update.
Hargreaves Lansdown say Burberry’s (BRBY.L) first quarter figures showed signs of increasing positivity and maintains the shares at a strong HOLD rating: “Burberry provides premium products, has a premium valuation, but has yet to attain a premium rating – however, updates such as this will continue to exert positive pressure on the market consensus”
Oriel Securities reiterates its BUY rating on Halfords (HFD.L) despite the market having a negative reaction to its first quarter update. ”The shares have had a good run and to a degree Q1′s excellent is priced in. However momentum is very strong and we stay buyers.”
UBS has downgraded Croda (CRDA.L) from ‘NEUTRAL’ to ‘SELL’, citing current price is an overvaluation of potential.
