Telecoms company TALK TALK (TALK.L) announced an impressive third quarter performance, boosting revenues on new customer aquisitions: revenue rose 5.1 per cent to £436m.

The company added more customers to TV, Fibre Broadband and mobile following a strong promotional drive during the period.

Chief Executive, Dido Harding, said: “We are delighted with the material step up in our revenue growth during the quarter, which shows the powerful effect of combining a modestly growing customer base, disciplined pricing and promotional activity, and strong new product growth particularly in TV. We are on track to deliver our full-year guidance and our medium term targets of 4% revenue compound annual growth rate (FY14-17) and 25% earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) margin by full-year 2017.”
