Spreads have averaged at point 38 pips during the past 24 hours for the Euro/Dollar, peaking at 1 pip. The high at just slightly above the 1 09 level was reached yesterday, but the pair has since lost point 56% or 61 pips. News flow has been calm during the past 24 hours and it’s in line with the relatively narrow spreads that haven’t exceeded the 1 pip level. The Cable’s long term average spread is point 71 pips and both of the sides were 1.7 pips apart yesterday. Pound/Dollar has declined by a total of point 61% or 77 pips to hit the daily low of 1 2539. Spreads have been mostly narrow here as well – max of just 1.7 pips took place yesterday at 2:18 PM GMT. And last up for this report is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 27 and 1.5 pips respectively. The pair has been on a rise from the low of 110 11, gaining point 65% or 72 pips. Last 24 hours have brought no major bumps in spreads, 1.5 pips is the most you should have been charged.
