Euro/Dollar’s long term average spread is point 49 pips and maximum separation has been 1.3 pips. The pair moved sharply South by almost 1% or 103 pips to hit the daily low of 1 0821. Despite the volatile rate movement, spreads have been generally calm, peaking at only 1.3 pips today at 12:34 in the morning. The Cable’s long term average spread is 1 pip and both of the sides have separated by a maximum of 2.2 pips. Pound/Dollar depreciated by a total of point 55% or 71 pips, but some of the loss was recovered after the low of 1 2774 was reached. Spreads have been mostly calm and the max of 2.2 pips took place today shortly after midnight GMT. And last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 46 and 1.3 pips respectively. Greenback has dropped against the Yen by point 67% or 74 pips to hit the low of 109 86.
