	Morning Report: Euro set for a winning week Morning Report: 08.30 London • Despite the turmoil and uncertainty last week, this week has seen a remarkably bullish consistency. Gains have been made by the euro every day this week while stock markets have followed the same pattern. Click here to view full-sized image Click here to view full-sized image Click here to view full-sized image • Its not such good news for the Swiss franc which continues to weaken against the US dollar as traders offload their disaster hedge positions. Swiss PMI also came in below estimates by some margin this morning. The same sentiment is causing Gold to lose some of its shine and re-test the $1,500 level. Click here to view full-sized image Coming up today: • Coming up today we have British manufacturing PMI due at 52.2. This could be a very important data release as the UK has been sagging recently and manufacturing PMI has come in below estimates in the last three months. • At 14.55 we get revised UoM consumer sentiment followed by ISM Manufacturing PMI from the US at 15.00 Bet Idea • The euro looks set to make it five positive sessions from five this week. What are the implications for this • The first thing to point out is that five positive sessions in a row is relatively rare for the EUR/USD, occurring just 30 times since 2003. It's a low number of instances, but there is still a 50/50 chance of the single currency making it to a sixth straight session with an average g ain of 0.16%. • Of course, the euro still has to make a positive close today, but if it does, the strong trend could see the sentiment continue into Monday's session with the stats not giving too many red lights. A good way to play this might be a HIGHER trade predicting that the EUR/USD closes higher than 1.4550 on Monday (July 4th). This could return 124% if successful.
